Another excellent feature Microsoft added to Excel is automatic calculations! It doesn’t mean you don’t have to write any formulas anymore, but it can figure out some of them for you, not just simple ones. If you’re familiar with Flash Fill, you might think of automatic calculations as taking Flash Fill and kicking it up several notches. As of this recording in December 2023, the feature is available only in the web version of Excel. At some point it will probably be ported over to the desktop versions.
