Blogging from Word 2013

Word 2013 lets you take your document and turn it into a blog post. It works with major blogging platforms, including WordPress, which is what this blog uses. This feature was introduced in Word 2010, and the two versions have it in different sections of Backstage view (a/k/a File tab).

Create a new document in Word, click the File tab and selected the Share option. In the section, click and entered your login information.

After editing the document use the Blog Post tab on the ribbon bar to insert a category . Since this post has two categories, I clicked the Insert Category button twice.

Just like WordPress itself, you can publish a draft first, and publish for real, when you’re ready. Use the icon on the ribbon bar.
