Last night I attended a business networking cocktail party. My friend Wendy drove. Everyone threw their winter coats over a bench and we picked them up when leaving. But someone had taken my jacket. Everyone has a black nylon waterproof coat and they all look the same.
Problem was my car key was in the pocket and my car was parked at Wendy’s house with my house keys locked inside. But there are AirTags attached to my key rings, so we followed it for 20 minutes and came to the guy who accidentally took it (I was freezing in New Jersey’s 20 degree weather). Steve had no clue. He opened his coat closet, took the coat out, and there was my key in the pocket! The AirTag initially gave us a different address along the way but at least the guy who answered the door was nice about it.
I have eight AirTags attached to various items and they’re well worth it.
