Among the new functions currently in beta and soon to be released in the 365 editions of Excel are TAKE and DROP, which dynamically duplicate a range of cells. The TAKE function specifies which rows and columns to get and the DROP function specifies which rows and columns not to get. They both eliminate the need to use difficult and complex formulas for these tasks.
Last year, I did a TikTok video blog post about Excel’s =ROMAN function (watch it here). It will convert any regular Arabic number to Roman.
Microsoft will remove the experimental =COPILOT function from the Excel beta. They said they want functions to be more dependable and precise.
